What PigeonSend is

PigeonSend is a website that helps you send crypto on Solana to someone's X, Discord or GitHub account, or as a gift link. It is software, not a bank, an exchange or a custodian.

Where the money is

• When you send, your crypto goes into a public smart contract (a program on Solana), not to us.
• Sent to an X, Discord or GitHub account: to claim it, the person signs in with that account and approves with their own wallet. Our server checks the sign-in and confirms the claim.
• Sent as a gift link: anyone who has the link can claim it. Share it privately. If you lose the link, nobody can claim it, and you can take the money back after the deadline.
• If nobody claims it before your deadline, only you (the sender) can take it back.
• We never hold your wallet's keys and can't move money out of your wallet.

Beta

PigeonSend is in beta. We reviewed the contract ourselves, but it hasn't had an independent security audit yet. During the beta each transfer has a maximum amount, and you can send only SOL, USDC and USDT. Only send what you can afford to lose.

Fees

• You see the service fee (1% at most) before you confirm. If the fee is higher by the time your transfer reaches the blockchain, the transfer is refused and nothing is sent.
• Every transfer carries a small SOL deposit (a few thousandths of a SOL, shown before you confirm) that pays for the recipient's free claim. If you take the transfer back, the deposit comes back too.
• Solana network fees apply. LI.FI charges its own bridge fees, shown in the bridge.

Risks you accept

• Blockchain transactions are final. If you send to the wrong account, we can't reverse it, and that account's owner can claim it.
• Software can have bugs, and blockchains, wallets, X, Discord and GitHub can go down.
• Some tokens let their issuer freeze or take them. We warn you about these, but we can't stop it.
• Crypto prices change. Nothing here is financial advice.

What we may do

• Pause new transfers. Claims and refunds keep working.
• Stop claims for a while if a server key leaks, until we set a new key. Refunds keep working.
• Update the program's code. An update needs 2 of 3 signatures on a Squads multisig.
• Change these terms and update the date at the top.

Your responsibilities

Use PigeonSend legally where you live, don't use it for fraud or to send funds that aren't yours, and keep your wallet, your X, Discord and GitHub accounts and your gift links safe. See also our Privacy policy.
